Les cent conseils de padampa sangye aux gens de dingri - Pomaïa - 2016

OVERVIEW

Padampa Sangye, a yogi endowed with the highest realizations, was born in the 11th century in southern India. He went many times to Tibet, before finally settling in the region of Dingri, on the borders of the Land of Snows and Nepal, where he left this existence in 1117. His Hundred Verses of Advice to the People of Dingri, offered shortly before his passing in parinirvāṇa, constitutes his spiritual testament. It is these powerful words of truth that Rinpoche invites us to discover.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THESE TEACHINGS?

This poem constitutes a collection of profound instructions in the purest style of the great realized beings of India and Tibet. It covers more particularly: attachment to the appearances of this life and the manner of freeing oneself from them, the joy and freedom which come from the fact of placing death at the heart of life, devoting oneself to love, compassion and bodhicitta, indulging in generosity unceasingly, being carried by faith in the spiritual master, penetrating the ultimate nature of the mind and of all phenomena. With all the depth of his humanity and scholarship, Rinpoche makes these words of wisdom come alive and inspire us more than ever.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

These instructions are a hymn to spiritual practice, friends of virtue, wisdom and goodness. No doubt they will inspire you to develop a love and compassion that extends to all beings, and to penetrate the ultimate nature of reality, the knowledge of which liberates from all suffering.
