Retraite de lamrim - Veneux - 2020
OVERVIEW
The 2020 lamrim retreat was the first to take place entirely remotely, in the context of the global pandemic. It was an opportunity for many people around the world to join this exceptional teaching. Rinpoche mainly discussed how to follow the spiritual teacher, but also gave day after day, successively, deep instructions concerning all the other stages of the path to enlightenment.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THESE TEACHINGS?
From Ganden Ling's living room, in an intimate atmosphere, Rinpoche thus taught:
- The qualities of the lineage masters in order to show the purity of this teaching.
- The qualities of the teaching to generate respect for the instructions.
- How to listen to such a teaching.
- The way to rely on spiritual teachers, the root of the path - emphasizing mainly on the way to rely on them in thought.
In parallel, at the start of each session, Rinpoche admirably guides us through all the stages of the path: the exhortation to give all its meaning to this life based on its freedom and fortune, the importance of overcoming clinging to the appearances of this sole existence, the encouragement to seek real refuge from the dangers of the cycle of births and deaths, the understanding that liberation from suffering is possible and how to bring about the aspiration for it, the beauty and infinitely precious character of bodhicitta for all sentient beings.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
Each lamrim retreat given by Rinpoche is a unique opportunity to deepen the knowledge and practice of the gradual path to enlightenment - the path that has been taken, is taken and will be taken by all the Buddhas of the three times.
